Cinema Slate Opens the Teen Horror Drama Kill Me Please on September 1, at Alamo Drafthouse Downtown Brookyln in New York, expanding nationwide during the fall. A VOD and physical media release is expected by May 2018.

IN THE LAST DAYS OF THE CITY/AKHER AYAM EL MEDINA (Tamer El Said 2016)

This gloomy and static but beautiful film about the city of Cairo before Egypt's ill-fated revolution is now out in (some) US theaters as of 27 April 2018, or at least at MoMA in New York. There are reviews of it by Ben Kenigsberg in the New York Times and Bilge Eberi in the Village Voice. Konigsberg is respectful; Eberi, enthralled. The film is a slow developer. It began to be shot and opens in 2009. It never reaches the Revolution. Big World Pictures is the distributer.
