Nicole offers up another Oscar-level performance in The Human Stain. Her chances are diminished because of the lack-luster box-office, audience mesmerizing theme of this movie, but her performance nonetheless deserves attention in her raw, more gritty and rough character that washes over the movie screen. Her range of acting in this movie expands her portrayals and establishes her as a maturing actress and a serious one.
