Who'd you cast as BETTY & VERONICA?

Miramax announced today that a deal was made with Archie Comics Entertainment to produce a live-action "Betty & Veronica". Who would you personally cast in the title roles?
Perhaps the heat and humidity are taking a toll on me, but I figured it'd be fun. I promise to return with my choices if there is interest.

Betty: Domenique Swain (because she's gorgeous/I love her)

Veronica: Courtney Cox (because she's gorgeous/I hate her)



How about me as Archie? :)

I think that teen actresses should be cast. I'd like Katie Holmes as Veronica but she's 24. So, Hilary Duff as Betty. My daughter Chelsea says Lindsay Lohan is the best teen actress today and reviews of The Parent Trap(where she plays two parts) and the new Freaky Friday hail her abilities. So I say dye her hair and have make-up hide those freckles.

Hmm, this is pretty nuts. I can't believe they've actually made a deal on this movie. I don't think I could bring myself to make a decision. I think it must be really hard to make casting decisions on all these comic book characters, because they are their own person within the books.
