The films the 2020 May Cannes Film Festival would have included

Reporting in the "Pandemic Streaming World" thread I noted that Cannes cancelled (http://www.filmleaf.net/showthread.php?4783-THE-PANDEMIC-STREAMING-WORLD-Oscilloscope-Kino-Lorber-Music-Box-Films&p=38302#post38302) its festival this year and had plans to make selections for other festivals (which I don't think has tanen place). I didn't realize the Cannes Festival's entire list of film selections was later made public. It was published June 3 in Kyle Buchanan's New York Times "The Carpetbagger" column (https://www.nytimes.com/2020/06/03/movies/cannes-2020-selection.html) headed "Cannes 2020: What Films Would Have Premiered at the Film Festival?"

Only a few of these have turned up in the NYFF's virtua;/Drive-In 2020 Festival, which I'm watching now:.

'Returning to Canne's:
Lovers Rock,” Steve McQueen (Britain)
“Mangrove,” Steve McQueen (Britain)

'Newcomers to Cannes':
“Beginning,” Dea Kulumbegashvili (Georgia)

'The Rest':
“The Truffle Hunters,” Michael Dweck and Gregory Kershaw (United States)

That's all that I see. For the complete list, many items from which we are sure to hear about later, see Buchanan's Times list (https://www.nytimes.com/2020/06/03/movies/cannes-2020-selection.html).
