CHRISTIAN CARION: MY SON/MON GARçCON (2017)
http://www.chrisknipp.com/images/MoGa.jpg
Coming to US theaters shortly, this is the third collaboration between the director Christian Carrion and Guillaume Canet after the Academy Award-nominated Joyeux Noël (2005) and Farewell (http://www.chrisknipp.com/writing/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=1449) (2009) and the most unique one, since Canet (himself director of the hit Tell No One) (2006) improvised his entire performance as a man who returns to his home town after a long absence to help find his lost son. Canet was kept in the dark about the plot outcome during most of the intense six-day shoot. Mélanie Laurent plays the distraught ex-wife. A Cohen Media Group release.
