Here's a thread for the first movies of 2018, which often are actually of 2017. This first one comes out Feb. 14, why on Valentine's Day I have no idea. It's a ruthless picture of the repression and corruption of contemporary Tehran in a rotooscoped animation made by its expatriate director in Germany, where he's now a citizen.
