More films are opening, at least in NYC, this week that I've reviewed before. Below are links to my original reviews. LIFE OF PI will have wide release, RUST AND BONE limited rollout. in Landmark Theters, etc. Those two are among the best movies of the year. THE LAW IN THESE PARTS is an important, bold Israeli documentary about biased enforcement of the law in Israel with regard to Palestinians. It makes a great companion piece to THE GATEKEEPERS, (http://www.filmleaf.net/showthread.php?3341-New-York-Film-Festival-2012&p=28595#post28595) another revealing documentary from Isreal, about Shin Bit, the security agency, which was in this year's NYFF.
