Nicole Kidman is probably my favorite actress right now, so I don't want anybody jumping all over me for this, but this is the lounge and I think this type of thing is ok to talk about here:
WHY DID SHE MARRY KEITH URBAN?
She's now pregnant with his child and that's all well and good, but for the life of me I cannot figure out what she sees in that guy. I have a hard time seeing what she sees in him.
Is it the hair-salon hair?
The big white teeth?
What is it Nicole?
He seems like a vacuuous dolt. He doesn't deserve her.
I'm sorry but there's something about that dude that rankles me.
He just seems totally wrong for her.
I read somewhere that she wanted to find someone who "Rocks My World". Well Nicole, I know my opinion doesn't really mean jack shit, but it bothers me that a woman of your class has settled for Mr. Urban. He doesn't "rock"- not in the least!
He seems like an upper scale K-Fed.
Why Lord?
Why Keith Urban?
How come Lenny Kravitz didn't work out?
Huh?
NOW HE ROCKS!

Having to really contemplate about my favorite actress, it probably is Nicole Kidman. Part of it, I have to admit is her gorgeous looks. But also, looking over her filmography - her wide range and versatility in a diverse number of movie genres speaks to her ability and talent as an actress. Six of her movies are among my top 250 movies, including one top ten movie.
1. Dogville (2004). Nicole Kidman offers up a superb performance in a script that is super rich in acting, a blend of a movie directed stage production that penetrates into the inner core of the human soul. One of the most powerful portrayals of social and interpersonal interactions on film. #10. (drama)
2. Moulin Rouge (2001). The best musical revival of the past decade. #29. (musical)
3. Eyes Wide Shut (1999). Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman enter into a strange and erotic, dangerous world of seduction and decadence. #32. (psychological thriller)
4. Invasion (2007). Nicole Kidman stars in this third remake of "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" in an emotional as well as thinking version of the classic movie. Great direction, great acting, great script full of tension, gripping fear, and doubt, along with a solid ending. 9/10. [Reviewed 9/19/07]. #48. (science fiction)
5. The Hours (2003). Another Nicole Kidman vehicle playing the role of female author. #63. (bio-drama)
6. Cold Mountain (2003). #141. (historic romantic drama)
Another four top favorites include:
The Interpreter (2005) (action thriller) 9/10
Bewitched (2005) (comedy) 8/10
The Stepford Wives (2004) (horror-comedy) 8/10
The Human Stain (2003) (drama) 8/10
