The Matador (2005)

Pierce Brosnan scores big with his performance and script in this wry, comedic suspense dramatic thriller that captures Brosnan's past role of James Bond in a fascinating comparative caricature between a suave superspy and a burnt out assassin. The great triple twist in the end in one of the most neatly wrapped up theatrical package in years. One of the best movies of the year.
